the madonna’s grief 🦊❤️
Yesterday we visited the Glencairn Museum, once the amazing home of the Pitcairn family, in Bryn Athyn. The castle like home was filled with medieval art work and stained glass. A piece of stone work that blew me away was a statue of The Madonna being illuminated by a lamp on a table. Its face of grief is very powerful and fitting in this season of Lent. The museum is definitely a place we will return to!! 🦊❤️
