After days of dedicated care for their two eggs, the Mourning Dove parents left and never returned. I am sure there must be some good and valid reason for their departure, leaving the two eggs on their own. It is only right to honor the two little eggs for their journey this far into the world. Not all stories have a happy ending, but then again maybe they do…🦊❤️
